Who are CSCI?

CSCI are the Commission for Social Care Inspection. In 2002 the government set out the regulations for domiciliary care providers - these are the minimum standards that homecare agencies have to adhere to in order to ensure good standards of care are delivered to our clients. As a homecare provider delivering personal care we will be regulated or inspected by CSCI.

Once we have been inspected, CSCI will write a report on the quality of the service being provided. The latest reports on all registered homecare services are available from the CSCI website at www.csci.org.uk click the link and take a look! (if you can't find a report its because we have not been assessed yet!)

During their review of our service CSCI will want information from some of our clients. They will send out questionnaires and get feedback about the service we offer. This will form part of the overall assessment of care provided.
